Anduril Industries and OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT and AI models like GPT-4 and OpenAI 01, have announced a strategic partnership to develop artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for national security.
This collaboration aims to integrate OpenAI’s AI technology with Anduril’s defense systems, including its Lattice software platform, to enhance the U.S. and allied forces' ability to counter unmanned aerial threats.
The partnership will focus on strengthening counter-unmanned aircraft systems (CUAS) by improving real-time detection, assessment, and response to aerial threats. Leveraging OpenAI’s AI models, the collaboration will enable faster data analysis, reduce human operator workload, and improve situational awareness to protect military personnel.
