Saab has received a SEK 1.7 billion ($160 million) contract to upgrade and maintain the German Air Force's Taurus KEPD 350 cruise missiles from 2025 to 2035.
The order, placed by Germany's defense procurement office (BAAINBw) through Taurus Systems—a joint venture between MBDA Germany and Saab—includes system upgrades and a ten-year maintenance program.
The Taurus KEPD 350 is an air-launched cruise missile with a range exceeding 500 km, designed to engage static ground targets at long distances. The modernization aims to enhance the missile's capabilities for complex air operations.
