Anduril Industries has announced an agreement to acquire Klas to integrate its rugged edge computing and tactical communications hardware with Anduril’s autonomous systems, pending regulatory approval.
Klas, headquartered in Ireland and the United States, is recognized for its Voyager product line, a modular suite of compute and networking systems designed to function in extreme conditions. The Voyager systems are built to withstand high temperatures, dust, jamming, and other difficult circumstances often encountered in defense missions. These systems are already a component of Anduril’s Menace family, supporting missions across land, sea, and air.
Anduril emphasized that modern defense missions rely heavily on computing and communication systems that can operate without established infrastructure. “Every autonomous system is only as capable as the compute and comms it carries—together, they form the nervous system that enables real-time decision-making, coordination, and mission execution,” the company stated.
By merging Anduril’s Lattice software platform with Klas’ hardware, the company plans to offer lightweight, mission-specific systems that are quicker to deploy and easier to maintain. According to Anduril, this will allow defense forces to adapt communications and computing solutions to meet diverse operational needs, minimizing integration risks and accelerating deployment timelines.
Klas will continue to operate from its current facilities in Ireland and the United States. The acquisition will also see the expansion of Anduril’s manufacturing footprint to meet growing demand and marks the company’s first office opening in Dublin. Anduril’s international operations already include sites in Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and Taiwan.
Anduril did not disclose the financial terms of the deal.
