Dutch military receives first NFH90 maritime helicopter from NHIndustries
The Dutch military has received its first NFH90 maritime helicopter. The Netherlands is the launch customer for the naval shipboard variant of the NH90 transport helicopter. The Dutch will use the newly delivered aircraft for crew training and basic coastal surveillance operations while the manufacturer works toward completing development of a full operationally ready, production standard aircraft. The NFH90 is manufactured by NHIndustries, a consortium comprising AgustaWestland (Italy) 32.00 percent, Eurocopter (France) 31.25 percent, Eurocopter Deutschland (Germany) 31.25 percent and Stork Fokker Aerospace (The Netherlands) 5.50 percent.
