Echodyne has been chosen as the radar provider for the Australia’s counter-drone modernization effort under Project Land 156.

The program is designed to deliver continuous counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS) capabilities.

Led by Leidos Australia, the project also involves EOS Australia, Acacia Systems, L3Harris Technologies, and Department 13. Echodyne already provides radar support to EOS Australia’s Slinger remote weapon system (RWS), which integrates anti-drone technology.

Echodyne’s 4D MESA radars are designed to deliver accurate data for detecting, tracking, and targeting drones. The radars support sensor cueing for optical systems and enable precision tracking for mitigation platforms.
