Marlin 100 EW, an unmanned naval platform developed for electronic warfare operations, has completed its testing phase and is now being prepared for induction into the Turkish Naval Forces.

Developed by ASELSAN in collaboration with Sefine Shipyard and supported by the Ministry of National Defense and the Naval Forces Command, the vessel integrates autonomous navigation, electronic warfare systems and a remote-controlled SMASH weapon system. The system enables precision target engagement and operation across unmanned mission scenarios, according to Turkish media.

Testing involved full activation of the platform’s electronic warfare suite and weapon system. Officials state the vessel will support electronic warfare, reconnaissance-surveillance and defence missions aligned with Turkey’s “Blue Homeland” framework.

ASELSAN designed the electronic warfare suite, while Sefine Shipyard handled ship construction and integration. The Naval Forces Command conducted testing support and operational evaluation. Preparations for formal acceptance into service are ongoing, with no deployment timeline announced.
