The U.S. State Department has approved a possible $105 million Foreign Military Sale to Ukraine for sustainment of the Patriot air-defense system, according to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency.
Ukraine requested sustainment-related equipment and services, including the upgrade of M901 launchers to the M903 configuration, prescribed load lists for ground-support equipment, spare parts, training, accessories, and other elements of logistics and program support. The estimated cost for the package is $105 million.
The principal contractors for the potential sale are RTX Corporation and Lockheed Martin.
