without a cockpit, which sources told defensemirror.com is a mock-up of the unmanned version of the proposed Su-75 fighter jet.

Earlier designed as a lighter version of the Su-57 equipped with a single engine, the Su-75 was intended to provide air forces with the 21 st century version of the MiG-21, a stealth, agile and easy to maintain fighter that could be mass-produced in thousands.

However the changing technological landscape has forced a rethink among designers of the Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC). The world is moving towards sixth-generation fighters- where manned aircraft fly in unison with unmanned jets leaving the most dangerous missions to the latter.

The Su-75 will fly both as a manned and unmanned aircraft,” UAC’s General Director, Vadim Bedekha said during the course of a media interaction at the Dubai Air Show 2025

With countries such as South Korea, Sweden, the U.S. France and the future fighter aircraft joint venture between the UK., Japan and Italy starting their own sixth generation aircraft projects, Russia cannot afford to be left behind.

The absence of a cockpit and ejection seat should enable the unmanned version to carry a higher weapons load than the manned Su-75, thus allowing lethal firepower to be unleashed on enemy air defenses, bunkers and strategic targets while remaining undetected through a large part of its flight envelope.

This aircraft will have a high-performance onboard computer with AI algorithms and a transceiver module with an asynchronous two-way data link (probably in the frequency range from 960 to 1250 MHz) with leading manned Su-75 or Su-57 aircraft, as well as ground combat control posts.

In "unmanned wingman" mode, the Su-75 will be able to use a wide range of air-to-air and air-to-surface weapons (from the R-77M air-to-air missile to the Kh-59MK2 multi-role stealth cruise missile
