Boeing Awarded $2.47B U.S.A.F Contract for 15 Additional KC-46A Pegasus Tankers
Boeing has received a new contract from the U.S. Air Force to produce 15 additional KC-46A Pegasus aerial refueling tankers. 
 
The agreement, known as the Lot 12 contract, is valued at 2.47 billion.

According to boeing, The KC-46A plays a key role in military mid-air refueling missions. 
 
The U.S. Air Force fleet has now surpassed 150,000 flight hours, supporting training, operations, and global deployments.

So far, 183 KC-46A aircraft have been delivered or are on order. This includes 98 for the United States, six for Japan, and four for Israel.

Boeing is also working on upgrades to improve communication and data-sharing features.
