Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) will present the Il-114-300 turboprop and the import-substituting Superjet outside Russia for the first time at the Wings India 2026 exhibition in Hyderabad from January 28 to 31.
The aircraft will be showcased by Rostec’s subsidiary UAC, at Asia’s largest civil aviation event. The Superjet will be displayed in a static exhibit featuring a livery with elements of the Indian national flag. Built using serial production technologies, the aircraft is equipped with Russian-made systems and components and is powered by PD-8 engines produced by the United Engine Corporation (UEC). It is fitted with a Russian-made passenger interior, which will be shown publicly for the first time.
The Il-114-300 turboprop will be displayed with its passenger cabin installed and will take part in the exhibition’s flight program. Powered by TV7-117ST-01 engines from the UEC, the aircraft is designed for regional routes and autonomous operations from small airfields and short runways with limited infrastructure. The manufacturer says it is certified for operations across Arctic, mountainous, tropical, subtropical, and hot climates.
The company said India’s UDAN regional connectivity program supports the expansion of regional air travel and creates conditions for commercial operations of the SJ-100 and Il-114-300 in the local market.
UAC said regional airlines have shown interest in its civil aircraft. With support from the Russian Trade Mission in India, demonstrations of the Superjet and Il-114-300 are planned for Indian aviation specialists during the exhibition.
The import-substituting Superjet first flew on September 5, 2025, becoming the first aircraft built in the target configuration intended for customer delivery.
Wings India 2026 is jointly organized by India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Government of India, the Airports Authority of India, and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
