ASELSAN signed agreements with Qatar-based Barzan Holdings to expand their joint venture, BARQ, during the DIMDEX 2026 exhibition in Doha.
According to ASELSAN, BARQ is a joint venture established to develop advanced defense technologies and support local production and industrial capabilities in Qatar.
Under the new agreements, the partnership will expand into high-technology areas and selected local production capabilities, with the aim of strengthening technology transfer, industrial know-how, and the development of local expertise in both countries.
The agreements were signed by ASELSAN Vice President Özgür Taylan Sarı and Barzan Holdings CEO Eng. Mohamed Badr Al-Sadah.
