Elbit Systems Acquires U.K.-based UAV Tactical Systems Ltd

Elbit Systems UK has completed the full acquisition of UAV Tactical Systems Ltd. (UTACS) after receiving all required regulatory and government approvals.

With full ownership, Elbit Systems UK plans to develop UTACS into a leading British and regional hub for the design, development and support of advanced uncrewed aerial systems (UAS), leveraging Elbit Systems’ global expertise in the uncrewed domain.

The company said the acquisition will strengthen its support for European and NATO customers, while continuing existing programmes and retaining UTACS’ highly skilled British workforce, supporting the UK defence industrial base.

UTACS has nearly 20 years of experience supplying advanced UAS to the British Army and international customers, including the United Nations and NATO member countries.
