Iran Attacks US Facilities in Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Oman

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) today announced attacks on several US military targets across Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman  even as U.S. forces intensified attacks against Iranian economic and military targets overnight.

In response, the U.S. bombed economic and military facilities in several Iranian cities where loud explosions were reported. Casualties so far are nor known.

According to the Iranian Army's Public Relations Office, a hostile "Lucas" drone was tracked shot down over the port city of Bandar Abbas.

The IRGC's Aerospace Force struck the US military's drone command and control center at Bahrain's Sheikh Isa Airbase.

The IRGC added that its forces also destroyed "key helicopter maintenance and repair facilities" and "the hangar housing a P-8 electronic warfare aircraft" at the same base.

In a subsequent statement, the IRGC announced the "complete destruction" of fuel storage tanks and a Patriot air defense system at the Ali al-Salem Airbase in Kuwait, as well as an FPS strategic radar system at the Ahmad al-Jaber Airbase in the country.

The IRGC's Ground Force targeted a US Army surface-to-surface missile base in Kuwait. "They set two HIMARS missile launchers and ammunition bunkers filled with missiles ablaze, completely destroying them," the statement read.

Reports from Jordan and Kuwait said several Iranian missiles were shot down and did not report any damage.

A US base in Bahrain's Juffair district, "where towering flames are now rising," the IRGC said. The force also "struck and destroyed an FPS long-range air surveillance radar and a maritime surveillance radar in the Sultanate of Oman with powerful missile and drone attacks."
