The Rheinmetall Group of Düsseldorf, Germany, has concluded a framework agreement with the Royal Dutch Armed Forces to supply the Netherlands with a wide array of different ammunition types. The anticipated order volume over a 10-year period is EUR 200 million. Under the agreement, the Royal Dutch Armed Forces have already placed an initial order in 2010 for modular propelling charges for the PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzer. This far-reaching agreement reinforces Rheinmetall’s position as a leading supplier of large- and medium-calibre weapons and ammunition for NATO member countries and other friendly nations.
