Honeywell wins $114 million contract for engineering services from US Defense

Honeywell International, Phoenix, Ariz., was awarded on April 8 a $114,891,669 firm-fixed-price contract for total integrated engine revitalization program year five requirements to provide parts and engineering services for the overhaul of 774 automotive gas turbines, 1500 engines, or equivalents. Work will be performed at Anniston, Ala.; Phoenix, Ariz.; Greer, S.C.; and Rocky Mount, N.C., with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2011. Bids were solicited via the World Wide Web with one received. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting authority .
