Defence & MRO Division Signed Two New Contracts

Aero Vodochody successfully established two new business deals with major international customers. In September 2011, Aero Vodochody successfully established two new business deals with major international customers, the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic and Vietnam New Technological Appliance One Member Co., Ltd. Both contracts show a strong position of Aero Vodochody as a reliable and high qualified business and engineering partner. The [agreement] with New Technological Appliance One Member Co., Ltd. was signed in the first half of September as a result of eight months of negotiations. As a part of it, officials of Vietnamese Ministry of Defence and War Aircraft visited Aero Vodochody in June 2011. Supply of more than three hundred spare parts for L-39 jet aircraft starts in November 2011. The agreement also contains a trip of engineers of Aero Vodochody who will accomplish an inspection and repairs necessary to extend working life of two L-39C aircrafts, install new monitoring system FAU-39 and train employees of the Vietnamese company.
