Raytheon Wins $100M Contract for Weapons from US DoD

The Department of Defense awarded Raytheon Company two separate air-launched weapons contracts with a combined value of nearly $100 million. --The U.S. Navy awarded Raytheon an $84.3 million modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract to produce the Joint Standoff Weapon C-1. --The U.S. Air Force awarded Raytheon a $15 million firm-fixed-price contract for production of the laser-guided Maverick missile. Both contracts were announced by the Department of Defense on Dec. 19. Raytheon Company, with 2010 sales of $25 billion, is a technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, homeland security and other government markets throughout the world. With headquarters in Waltham, Mass., Raytheon employs 72,000 people worldwide.
