BAE Systems Wins $118M Contract for Vehicle from US DoD

BAE Systems Tactical Vehicle, L.P., Sealy, Texas, is being awarded $118,382,589 for firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity delivery order 0009 modification under a previously awarded contract (M67854-07-D-5030) for the procurement of 371 Caiman multi-theater vehicle rolling chassis with overpack kits and Caiman underbody survivability kits. Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by December 2012. Contract funds in the amount of $118,382,589 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity. -- Navistar Defense, L.L.C., Warrenville, Ill., is being awarded $109,501,008 for firm-fixed-priced delivery order 0020 under a previously awarded contract (M67854-07-D-5032) for the procurement of 650 DXM Plus kits in support of the MaxxPro Plus Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles. Work will be performed at the MRAP Sustainment Facility in Kuwait, and is expected to be completed by the end of October 2012. Contract funds in the amount of $109,501,008 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
