Saudi Arabia Requests Follow-On Aircraft Services Worth $850 Million

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has requested follow-on support and services for its aircraft from the U.S in a deal estimated to be worth $850 million. The possible sale of follow-on support and services for the Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft include engines and weapons, airlift and aerial refueling, support equipment, spare and repair parts, repair and return, personnel training and training equipment, U.S. Government and contractor technical and logistics support services, and other related elements of logistical and program support. According to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), there is no prime contractor involved in this proposed sale. There are no known offset agreements proposed in connection with this potential sale.
