Boeing has appointed Ashmita Sethi as Communications Director for India, whose responsibilities include acting as principal spokesperson. Her extensive strategic communications experience and expertise in the Indian aerospace and defense sector includes 11 years at Rolls-Royce, most recently as vice president Communications and Public Affairs, for the India region, Boeing said in a statement. “India is an important partner for Boeing. Our relationship is growing on many levels and this appointment is a critical step in reinforcing our growing presence and commitment to India,” said Charlie Miller, Boeing vice president International Corporate Communications. “Underscoring the success of Boeing is a global team of competent and committed people,” Miller said. “We are excited about building our team in India as we expand our strong alliances and collaborative partnerships”.
