DSIT Solutions To Provide Underwater Security Systems To Israeli Navy

Israel-based DSIT Solutions has announced that it has won a contract worth $3.2 million from the navy for a number of Underwater Security systems, for immediate production and delivery.

 

According to Givat Shmuel, his company has received these orders to strengthen the country’s critical assets i.e. maritime security, which is been protected and guided well by the DSIT’s Diver Detection Sonar (DDS) and Portable Diver Detection Sonar (PDDS) systems, for many past years.

 

The AquaShield™ underwater surveillance solution includes automatic detection, tracking and classification for both scuba and closed circuit divers, having main customers for the systems like navies, homeland security agencies, oil and gas (O&G) companies, nuclear power facilities, port authorities, as well as yachts and coastal homes of the mega-rich.

 

The additional units will be supplied throughout 2013 for deployment at various coastal sites and offshore installations.
