Invertix Awarded Army Prime Contract Valued at $300M

MCLEAN, Va. --- Invertix Corporation announced today that it has been awarded a prime contract with the U.S. Armys Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) to provide management, engineering, and information technology support to the Information Dominance Center (IDC) Futures Directorate.>> A total of three indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts were awarded for a performance period of five years and a total value of $300M. The Government has stated a firm commitment to contracting 50% of the total dollar value of task orders directly with the small business prime awardees.>> INSCOM serves a vital role in the national defense of the United States and the protection of allied forces worldwide, said Art Hurtado, President and Chief Executive Officer. We could not be more pleased that the Futures Directorate has asked Invertix, along with our talented partners, to fulfill mission critical support and technology requirements. The work will be performed at Fort Belvoir and other locations worldwide.>> Robert T. Bob Hall, presently a Director of Defense Intelligence at Invertix and former Command Sergeant Major of the Third United States Army, will play a significant role in the transition of work to the new contract. Bobs career also includes time as the Command Sergeant Major of the US Army Intelligence Center and School and he continues to play an integral role in the military intelligence community. We will work closely with one another to ensure INSCOM and its mission partners receive first-rate support, said Craig Parisot, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
