Camero To Launch First Unmanned VTOL Structure-Penetrating Life Detection System
Xaver AID - Airborne Imaging Drone

Camero will launch Xaver AID, Airborne Imaging Drone, an airborne structure-penetrating life detection system, at Milipol, taking place in Paris, November 19-22.

Camero expands into an exciting new area of operation - delivering life-saving situation awareness via a state-of-the-art UAV with through-roof detection-of-life capabilities. The Company will also present, for the first time at Milipol, the Xaver Net System – its new wireless communication platform for remote monitoring and control of the Xaver systems.

The Xaver AID (Airborne Imaging Drone) is a tactical unmanned VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) drone with the unique capability of providing remote real-time Non-Line-Of-Sight (NLOS) detection of life through the roof of a structure. The system utilizes Camero's unique, radar-based technology which has been extensively field-proven in the Xaver family of through-wall imaging systems.

Xaver AID's additional optical payload provides a full situational awareness picture both through the structure and of the surrounding area, delivering a quick and tactical solution in urban environments. Xaver AID is designed for special forces, penetration forces, and intelligence and surveillance teams, solving logistical and safety issues, and allowing forces to 'step into the known'. The system reduces mission time, costs, and resources.

Camero will also present the Xaver Net – a wireless communication platform for its networked tactical through-wall imaging system - for the first time at Milipol.

Xaver Net is a wireless command and control platform designed specifically to support the deployment of the Xaver 400 and Xaver 100 systems. The solution includes a ruggedized PDA that can quickly connect with the deployed Xaver systems. The Xaver Net PDA supports viewing and control of multiple Xaver systems with an intuitive interface. This capability adds a new dimension of situational awareness to the operator by providing through-wall detection and imaging information from multiple Xaver systems at a remote distance.

The Xaver 100 is an ultra-portable, handheld presence-of-life detector providing military, law enforcement, and search & rescue personnel with critical information in real time about the presence of life and its distance behind a wall - enabling better tactical decision-making in various operational scenarios.

The Xaver 400 is a compact, lightweight and durable personal device optimized for the speed of tactical entries. It delivers critical information regarding the number of people and their location behind walls made of common materials. It also provides information regarding room dimensions and major infrastructure elements.

According to Amir Beeri, Camero's CEO, "We are very pleased to announce the launch of new products and the expansion of our portfolio as well as the Company's operations - which enable our customers to benefit from a wider spectrum of solutions. We continuously invest significant resources in the creation of the best, most innovative, and highest quality systems that reliably safeguard human life.”
