Ukroboronprom Not Under Investigation, Says Company

The news concerning the initiation of investigation of criminal cases against Ukroboronprom’s management, which was published by some information agency, does not correspond to reality, Ukroboronprom said in a statement.

"None of Ukroboronprom management is the object of investigations from law enforcement officers. The same time we do underline that currently a number of criminal cases, related to actions of certain Ukroboronprom member-enterprises, are being investigated. In particular, this concerns the officials from ‘KyivArmored Plant’, ‘Zhytomer Armored Vehicle’ and other enterprises," the statement said.

We repeatedly stressed on Ukroboronprom’s position that all initiated cases should be openly and transparently investigated, and also we should assist law enforcement officers in every possible way. 

All actions directed towards the weakening of state defense capability will be assessed accordingly. Admittedly, Ukroboronprom provides relevant investigating authorities with all necessary information in the framework of initiated criminal cases, it added.
