China To Deliver 8 Submarines To Pakistan
China will be delivering eight submarines to Pakistan Navy by 2028 for protecting the coastal areas.
China will be constructing four submarines in its own land and then will be supplying to Pakistan Navy in mid 2022 to 2023, Pakistan Navy chaired by Sheikh Rohale Asghar in Islamabad was quoted as saying by Radio Pakistan on Friday.
Whereas the remaining four will be constructed in Pakistan at Karachi shipyard and these will be handed over to Pakistan Navy in 2028, the navy said in a briefing to the National Assembly Standing Committee.
