Indian Air Force' Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Lakshya crash-landed at Chandamani village, about 30 km from Dr. Abdul Kalam Island, the Integrated Test Range missile testing facility, in Odisha’s Balasore district on Friday.
The UAV which was on a routine flight landed in an agricultural field. There was no loss to life and property, the Hindu reported Saturday.
Although the reason behind the uncontrolled landing was yet to be ascertained, it was believed that some technical glitch affected its normal functioning.
