Raytheon has been awarded a $90 million contract for the AN/ALR‐69A digital radar warning receiver (RWR)system required to support foreign military sales production requirements.
This contract provides for the fabrication, integration, testing and delivery of line replaceable units and shop replaceable units. Work is expected to be complete by May 2023, the US department of defense said in a statement Wednesday.
The upgraded AN/ALR-69A(V) RWR enhances aircrew survivability, providing “sensors forward” situational awareness. It is currently being tested on the F-16 and installed on the US Air Force C-130H, KC-46A.
