Poland’s Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) and Ukraine’s Artem signed an agreement to produce 125mm tank ammunition.

The agreement concerns cooperation in the field of production of tank ammunition.

The document was signed in the presence of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki, and his deputy, Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin.

The agreement defines the principles of cooperation between the two entities in the field of 125mm tank round production. Both parties decided to build new production lines selected by both parties in the near future.

They will allow the production of large quantities of 125mm tank rounds intended for the needs of the Ukrainian military.

The Polish side will transfer not only its production technologies to the Ukrainians but also the necessary equipment.

Both sides will supply the components required for the production of ammunition according to their capabilities.
