Nigerian pilots and technicians have reached Turkish Aerospace Industries’ (TAI) facilities where they will undergo training on how to operate T129 ATAK attack helicopters.
According to PUNCH newspaper, 26 personnel of the Nigerian Air Force have landed in Turkey for training on the usage and maintenance of T129s.
The African country last year procured six T129 helicopters for counter-terrorism operations in the country. It is currently preparing to take delivery of first of its T129s.
