Kaluga Electromechanical Plant Enters UAV Production Partnership with Turing Flying Machines

The Kaluga Electromechanical Plant, part of the Avtomatika concern, has inked a deal with Turing Flying Machines LLC to commence the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The initial pre-production models of the T-300 and TFM-15 unmanned aerial systems have been crafted at KEMZ. The agreement was formally signed by Evgeny Zolotnitsky, the General Director of the Kaluga Electromechanical Plant, and Yuri Mazurov, the General Director of LMT LLC.

The T-300 and TFM-15 are two distinct types of aircraft-type drones featuring vertical take-off and landing, catering to different weight classes. These drones are built on a scalable, configurable, and easily upgradable platform, facilitating the transportation of cargo with varying specifics and large volumes, as well as accommodating a diverse array of attachments.

During the signing of the agreement, the inaugural samples of the T-300 and TFM-15, rolling off the assembly line at the Kaluga plant, were showcased to key stakeholders in the unmanned aerial industry.

Zolotnitsky expressed readiness for the production launch, citing the success of federal targeted technical re-equipment programs that have equipped the company with a robust manufacturing base for high-tech equipment. The recent construction of two new buildings totaling almost 3,000 square meters and a workforce of 1,350 highly skilled specialists position the company favorably to fulfill substantial orders efficiently. Moreover, the existence of another production site, the Kalugapribor plant, enhances their capacity for handling large-scale projects swiftly.
