IRGC: Airstrikes on Mossad Site in Erbil Levels Concrete Fortress and Spy Gear

Iran's missile strike in Erbil on Tuesday, targeting a Mossad-affiliated facility, led to the destruction of a sturdy concrete fortress, revealing an underground cellar filled with sophisticated spying equipment.

Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh was quoted by Iranian state media, stating that the strike leveled a concrete fortress, the cellar of which was stocked with spying equipment. He described the missile attacks against the Daesh (ISIL or ISIS) terrorist group and the Mossad center in Syria and Iraq as Iran's natural response to a series of recent crimes. These include the alleged Israeli assassination of two IRGC forces in Syria and the tragic January 3 attack in Kerman near Soleimani's tomb. He mentioned that the missile attacks on Syria's Idlib killed a significant number of Takfiri terrorists and Daesh elements.

The IRGC Aerospace Force commander explained that the Erbil strike was prompted by the discovery of a location in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Initially appearing as a villa, the building turned out to be a heavily fortified concrete fortress, he claimed, utilized for both spying activities and orchestrating special terrorist operations.

Highlighting the extent of these operations, General Hajizadeh revealed that the Erbil fortress was the fourth hostile base demolished by resistance forces in the past 100 days. The strike, carried out in the early hours of Tuesday, resulted in the complete destruction of the fortress, including advanced equipment housed in its two underground stories. The attack successfully neutralized the targeted elements.
