Saab has been awarded an order for its anti-armour weapon, the AT4, by the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA).

The order, valued at approximately €63 million (SEK 700 million), is slated for delivery between 2026 and 2027. This transaction was officially recorded in the company's financial books during the fourth quarter of 2023.

The AT4 series, noted for its utilitarian design, is characterized by its simplicity of use, ease of maneuverability, and disposability, catering to the requirements of a single soldier. It is positioned as a weapon capable of countering tanks, heavy combat vehicles, and addressing threats within structures and fortifications. Additionally, the AT4 is purported to provide security for fixed installations, supply points, and other critical assets, extending its utility beyond traditional battlefield scenarios.
