Brunei MoD Orders Six H145M Multipurpose Helicopters

Airbus Helicopters has signed a contract with Brunei's Ministry of Defence to purchase six H145M helicopters.

Said Bruno Even, CEO of Airbus Helicopters. “We are confident that the H145M will bring a step change in operational readiness to Brunei.

Brunei upgraded its air force capabilities by replacing its old BO105 fleet with new H145M helicopters for missions like close air support and aerial observation.

The global fleet of the H145 family serves armed forces, air units, and law enforcement worldwide.

Powered by two Turbomeca Arriel 2E engines, the H145M is equipped with full authority digital engine control (FADEC). In addition, the helicopter is equipped with the Helionix digital avionics suite which, alongside flight data management, includes a 4-axis autopilot, which considerably reduces pilot workload during missions.
