MD Helicopters LLC (MDH) has secured a 5-year, $19 million contract with the Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG) to provide comprehensive support for their fleet of 12 MD530F helicopters.

The agreement includes spare parts, repair and overhaul services, and in-country technical and logistical support.

Under the contract, MDH will station a field service representative and logistics technician in Saudi Arabia to ensure timely maintenance and parts management. The company will also supply aircraft materials to sustain the fleet.

Previously, SANG's MD530F fleet was maintained by an in-country contractor. However, the department sought OEM support to enhance maintenance quality and material support. MDH's direct involvement is expected to improve maintenance and parts acquisition while reducing costs and downtime.

MDH staff are already on-site providing support, and over $1 million in spare parts will be delivered this month.
