Russia’s ROSOBORONEXPORT today unveiled a new mobile electronic warfare (EW) center based on the PLASTUN-SN tracked armored vehicle at the Army 2024 arms fair.

The vehicle houses the SHIELD electronic warfare system which can suppress the electronic signals of first person view (FPV) and other drones. It also carries other anti-drone payloads.

In addition to EW roles, the PLASTUN-SN vehicle can  transport personnel, cargo and special payloads in environments with low load bearing capacity soils including logistical support mission.

The tracked vehicle is powered by a VAZ engine capable of moving at 50kmph over rough terrain. It can seat 8 fully equipped personnel or four operators of EW systems.
