Ukrainian Forces Receive Locally made Stealth Kamikaze Drone, "Grey Widow"

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has announced the arrival of a new batch of Grey Widow-1 Kamikaze UAVs for the Ukrainian Army.

Produced by the Ukrainian company, "Heavenly Punishment," these UAVs have been delivered to the Ukrainian Special Operations Center.

Heavenly Punishment commented, "Grey Widow-1 in the Ukrainian Army, good hunting."

The UAVs delivered to the Ukrainian Army were purchased through a tender funded by charitable organizations and local sources, with the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers approving the acquisition of domestically produced unmanned aerial vehicles in July.

The Ukrainian Army will use the Grey Widow-1 UAVs for sensitive operations. The Security Service of Ukraine highlighted that the Grey Widow-1 can reach speeds of 120 km/h, has high maneuverability, and a maximum range of 52 kilometers, making it highly effective for precision strikes.

Ukrainian officials Stated, “The Grey Widow is a stealthy bird that appears in unexpected places and has the maneuverability to hit both ground and ground targets, and possibly even much higher targets.”
