Two Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers lost their lives in the crash. Their families have been informed, but their names have not yet been cleared for publication. Seven other soldiers sustained injuries of varying severity and were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment. Their families have also been notified.
