A court in Xiamen, Fujian Province, sentenced a man to 10 months in prison for illegally obtaining state secrets.

The defendant, identified by the surname Li, used a drone equipped with a high-definition camera to capture images of military radar stations and the layout of a Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) garrison.

Between December 2023 and January 2024, Li filmed sensitive military sites, compiling two short videos that he later shared on his social media accounts. The videos attracted significant attention, with over 4,000 views, and were shared and liked more than 30 times. During the investigation, it was determined that the footage contained both classified and confidential materials.

Li admitted to his actions during the trial in March 2024. Authorities seized the drone and other equipment used in the crime.
