Russian T-90MS Tank Attracts Huge Interest at IDEX 2025

The T-90MS tank that occupies the center stage of the Russian display at IDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi, has attracts military delegations from a number of countries.

The President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan got acquainted with the T-90MS tank when he visited the Russian pavilion.

Many uniformed officers were seen looking around the tank and asking Russian executives about its features. The reason for the T-90’s popularity stems from its extensive use in Russia’s war against Ukraine where the Russian tank has withstood both anti-tank missile and drone attacks on several occasion while being the main tank supporting the infantry’s advance.

According to Bekkhan Ozdoyev, Industrial Director of the Arms, Ammunition and Special Chemicals Cluster of Rostec State Corporation, the T-90MS tank has received updated all-round multi-level protection against rocket propelled grenades (RPG)s, anti-tank guided missiles and FPV drones. The vehicle is equipped with the latest modern fire control systems, sights, interfaces and a wide range of ammunition. It has outstanding firepower.

“Our tanks demonstrate amazing survivability due to their new protection. They can take multiple hits and continue to perform their mission. Foreign armored vehicles in service with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as a rule, are disabled by one or two FPV drones, which we have all seen more than once.

Without false modesty, we can say that the T-90MS is the best serial tank in the world today and the best offer of Rosoboronexport for foreign partners in its niche. And this is a fact based on real combat operations,“ Ozdoyev said.
