France will grant Ukraine licenses to produce Aster 30 anti-aircraft missiles for SAMP/T air defense systems, AASM Hammer aerial bombs, and SCALP cruise missiles.
This was stated by French President Emmanuel Macron during a press conference after a meeting of the "Coalition of the Willing" in Paris.
Macron’s announcement followed a statement by President Trump that the US will grant Kyiv a licence to produce the Patriot PAC air defense missiles in Ukraine.
"Radar systems are also being transferred along with additional missiles. And we have agreed on licensing agreements for new AASM, Aster 30 and SCALP capabilities, which will allow us to build these capabilities much faster with our Ukrainian partners and on Ukrainian soil," he said.
Macron added that Ukraine has urgent needs of anti-ballistic defense. That is why the countries have joined together in the Anti-Ballistic Coalition, which is supposed to accelerate the development of air and missile defense systems.
