Russia has unveiled the Supercam S350 drone at IDEX 2025, claiming it has hunted down and destroyed Western-supplied military vehicles, including Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and Humvees, on the Ukrainian battlefield.
Unveiled by the Rostec State Corporation, the Supercam S350 is a multi-role drone designed for surveillance, reconnaissance, and strike coordination. According to Rostec, the UAV has played a key role in identifying and neutralizing various Western systems, from M777 howitzers and Patriot missile systems to HIMARS rocket launchers.
"Thanks to the work of Supercam S350 drones, numerous types of foreign equipment were detected and destroyed. Among them are American Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, M113 armored personnel carriers, M119 and M777 howitzers, Paladin self-propelled guns, HMMWV armored vehicles, Patriot air defense systems, and HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems. These include Vampire MLRS, CAESAR self-propelled artillery units, RT-91 Twardy tanks, Cobra armored vehicles, Buk-M1 systems, and other equipment. Russian drones have also demonstrated high efficiency in adjusting fire on ammunition depots, temporary deployment points, strongholds, command posts, aerial reconnaissance sites, and enemy UAV control centers," Rostec stated.
Equipped with a long-range video communication system, the Supercam S350 can detect targets in both visible and infrared spectrums. Its modular composite structure allows for quick assembly and adaptable payloads, making it versatile for different operational environments. The UAV is designed for round-the-clock missions and can function in challenging weather conditions.
Beyond military applications, the Supercam S350 could appeal to Gulf states for border security, law enforcement, and counterterrorism operations. It may also find uses in monitoring oil infrastructure, construction sites, agriculture, mining, and power grids.
