Denmark Invests $290M in Soldier Equipment Through Acceleration Fund

Denmark is allocating DKK 2 billion ($290 million) from the Acceleration Fund to modernize soldier-related equipment for the Danish Armed Forces.

The acquisitions include rifles, pistols, thermal observation binoculars, tactical radios, night vision goggles, and other essential gear. The investment supports rebuilding the armed forces and improving soldiers' ability to defend Denmark.

Denmark’s broader defense funding plan allocates DKK 50 billion ($7.24B) to strengthen the armed forces, with DKK 25 billion ($3.62 billion) set aside for 2025 and 2026. An additional DKK 10 billion ($1.45 billion) per year from 2027 to 2033 will support ongoing military upgrades.
