Diehl Aviation has announced plans to establish a new production facility in Romania as part of its strategy to expand global manufacturing capacity and support the growing demand from the aviation industry.
The new site will focus on manufacturing products and components for passenger aircraft, ensuring consistent delivery rates as global aircraft production continues to rise.
Romania was selected for its strategic location between Eastern and Western Europe, providing direct access to both markets and proximity to key suppliers. The country’s EU membership offers political and economic stability, as well as smooth market integration within Europe.
The facility will complement the company’s existing operations in Germany, which will continue to focus on development, industrialization, and product maturation.
Construction of the new facility is expected to begin in 2025.
