Rostec Begins Deliveries of New Anti-Drone System Dvina-100M

Russia's Rostec State Corporation has begun the deliveries of its latest anti-drone system, the Dvina-100M, to safeguard large industrial plants and vital infrastructure from emerging UAV threats.

Evolved by Rosel holding of Rostec, the system is meant to protect airports, railway stations, and big factories. In the company's statement, the Dvina-100M can repel a swarm of drones, making a "security dome" hundreds of meters above a target location.

The system can suppress drone control channels, data transmission, and global navigation satellite systems. It works over a broad frequency range and has fixed and high-speed tunable jamming ranges and is able to counter UAVs that are pseudo-random frequency hopping.

Rosel pointed out that the Dvina-100M works well in conjunction with radio monitoring hardware so that it can decode a drone's communication signals and create interference on corresponding frequencies. This prevents UAVs from having contact with their operators or getting precise information, irrespective of the protocol or frequency.

"The illegal use of UAVs is acquiring new forms and methods, including by expanding the frequency range and control via cellular and GPS channels. To counteract such drones, we are constantly upgrading their suppression systems by expanding the frequency range, increasing the spectral density of the signal and improving other important parameters. Today, Dvina-100M is one of the most modern suppression systems that effectively counters enemy UAVs," Rosel said.

It is designed to be used under harsh conditions, -40°C to +50°C temperatures. It has been subjected to necessary testing and has validated its claimed technical potential. It is produced by NatsInfoBez, a Rosel subsidiary that specializes in the development of integrated airspace protection solutions.
