ASELSAN’s MURAD 100-A Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Fire Control Radar has completed its first flight on the Bayraktar Kizilelma unmanned combat aircraft.

Built on AESA architecture, the radar provides electronic beam steering, multi-target detection, and tracking for air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. ASELSAN said integration on Kizilelma follows earlier trials with the Bayraktar Akinci, which began flight testing in February 2025 after integration was completed in 2024.

The MURAD 100-A supports beyond-visual-range missile guidance and simultaneous multi-target engagement, enhancing combat capability for unmanned systems. It features gallium nitride (GaN)-based power amplification, digital beam forming at the sub-array level, and wide frequency coverage for effective operation in complex environments.
