Russia's Rostec State Corporation will present several new aircraft developments at the Dubai Airshow 2025 (Nov. 17-21), including first-time international displays of the Yak-130M and Ansat-M, along with the Middle East debut of the Su-57E fighter jet.
The upgraded Yak-130M—developed by the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) —now includes a new aviation weapons system and updated onboard equipment. The aircraft is designed for pilot training on fourth- and fifth-generation platforms and can be used as a light combat aircraft. Rostec said the new systems allow the aircraft to operate in both daytime and nighttime conditions.
The exhibition will also feature the world premiere of the domestically produced Ansat-M helicopter. Built by Russian Helicopters and powered by VK-650V engines from United Engine Corporation (UEC), the aircraft completed its maiden flight this autumn. According to the manufacturer, the helicopter includes a redesigned fuselage, a new powerplant and upgraded airborne systems. Rostec said it is suitable for multiple roles, including operations in dense urban environments.
The Su-57E fifth-generation fighter will take part in the flying display.
Additionally, the Ka-52 reconnaissance and attack helicopter will also be demonstrated in flight. Its coaxial rotor design allows lateral movement and rapid turns.
Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostec, said the Ansat-M, Yak-130M and Su-57E aircraft do not rely on foreign components.
Static displays will include the Il-76MD-90A(E) military transport aircraft and the Ka-32A11M transport helicopter. Rostec will also exhibit next-generation engines, air-defense systems, navigation systems, airborne electronics and a range of munitions including guided and unguided missiles, high-explosive fragmentation bombs and bunker-busting bombs.
The Russian pavilion will include contributions from UAC, Russian Helicopters, UEC, High-Precision Systems, KRET and other Rostec divisions.
