S.Korea’s LIG Nex1 to Change Name to LIG Defense

South Korean firm LIG Nex1 is planning on changing its name to LIG Defense & Aerospace, or LIG D&A, to better reflect its business scope.
The new name emphasizes the company’s identity as a defense firm and signals plans to expand into global, space and future-oriented sectors. LIG Nex1 said it will seek final approval for the name change at its upcoming regular shareholders’ meeting, marking its first rebranding since adopting the LIG Nex1 name after joining LIG Group in 2007.
