Patria to Supply Germany with Armoured Vehicles Worth 2 Billion Euro

Patria and Germany have signed two procurement contracts under the Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) programme.

The deals are valued at over €2 billion, including options, with a firm order value exceeding €1 billion.

Under the agreement, Germany will acquire up to 876 Patria 6x6 armoured vehicles in multiple variants, including versions equipped with the Patria NEMO turreted mortar system and the Kongsberg RS4 remote weapon system. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2026.

Patria will also carry out technology transfer to German industry partners, enabling local production of the vehicles in Germany from 2027 to support future Bundeswehr requirements.

Germany joined the CAVS programme in 2023 and has now moved into the full-scale supply phase.

The programme is led by Patria and currently includes seven member nations.
