Boeing Awarded $2.8B to Upgrade South Korean F-15K Aircraft

Boeing has been awarded a $2.8 billion contract to upgrade Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) F-15K Slam Eagle aircraft.
According to the Department of Defense, the contract supports the design and development of an integrated suite of aircraft systems for the F-15K fleet.
Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2037.
The effort is being executed as a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case for South Korea, with $540 million obligated at the time of award.
