Embraer confirmed today that Uzbekistan is the previously undisclosed customer for the C-390 Millennium military transport aircraft.
The order was revealed at the ongoing Singapore Airshow (Feb. 3-8, 2026).
The aircraft will be operated by the Uzbek Air Force, primarily for transport and humanitarian missions, as part of efforts to expand the country’s airlift and disaster-response capacity.
Uzbekistan becomes the first Central Asian nation to select the C-390, marking a geographic expansion of the aircraft’s operator base.
The C-390 is a twin-engine military transport aircraft with a payload capacity of up to 26 tons. It is designed to support cargo and troop transport, airdrop operations, medical evacuation, search and rescue, firefighting, and humanitarian missions. Embraer says the aircraft can operate from unpaved or temporary runways.
Configured as the KC-390, the aircraft can conduct air-to-air refuelling missions, operating both as a tanker and a receiver.
